Hi! My name is Gillian Lamphere and I am currently a junior at HMTCA. I play softball and I am a catcher! Listening to music has always been my kind of therapy. Music has always been there for me when no one else has. I love writing songs and I’m currently learning piano so I can add music! My poetry style is kind of on the deep side. I tend to write about deep stuff and I genuinely enjoy it. I am not native to Connecticut, I was born in upstate New York. I was also born without the ability to see 3D.

Hi, I’m Emily Talavera. I’m in 9th grade. I’m lazy, quiet and stubborn. I'm also the oldest child. Drawing is my favorite activity, I also love spending time with my family, and dream equality. I love my dogs and sleep, however I hate mushy grapes. My fear is tight or crowded space, inequality continuing and pain to their loved ones. I do play violin. My wish is to visit different countries. I live in Hartford, Connecticut.

I've been creating art ever since I could hold a pencil, and for me, art is a way to express emotion that can't be expressed with words. Hi my name is Erin Woods and I'm a junior at HMTCA ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ I like almost anything creative; drawing, theater, dancing, singing, and of course, writing. Writing for me is a way I can lyrically and uniquely express myself, instead of just telling something flat out; that’s boring. I like to write poetry, songs, and sometimes short stories if I have the right inspiration. I’m also a big political activist so I enjoy making articles about many topics.
Hi my name is Clotilde but everybody calls me Chloe and I'm a junior at HMTCA.
I like expressing myself through so many different ways, that's why I joined our school yearbook club to be photographed. I began writing poetry a little over a year ago,
I love writing because it helps me cope with stress and others like to read my poetry.
I love to write and am often found jotting down notes in my little black notebook.
I love to write because it brings out one’s true words.
I like to write because it provides an opportunity for me to describe the world in ways we don’t usually see it.
I enjoy writing because I love stories, making my own seems to be a great way to tell my own as well as understand others.
